New Delhi : US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor has lauded JSW Steel for its significant investments in the United States, describing them as a strong example of the growing economic partnership between India and the US.
Sharing photographs on social media, the Ambassador said JSW Steel’s investments of more than $500 million in Ohio and Texas are strengthening American manufacturing, supporting economic growth and generating employment opportunities across the United States.
The Ambassador also reposted a message from Parth Jindal, appreciating the company’s continued expansion and investment in advanced manufacturing facilities in the US.
In his post, Parth Jindal said he was proud of the JSW Steel USA team for commissioning the largest Vacuum Tank Degasser and the most advanced slab caster capable of producing 12-inch slabs in North America.
He noted that the project, completed after more than three years of work with an investment of $165 million, marks a major milestone for JSW Steel USA. According to Jindal, the new facility will enable the company to meet its slab requirements internally, eliminating the need to procure slabs from external suppliers.
The development underscores the expanding footprint of Indian companies in the United States and reflects the strengthening industrial and investment ties between the two countries.
